Make a difference, one paw at a time

Join Emma's Diabetic Guardian Paws Foundation and become a part of something truly special. Your time and dedication can help change the lives of children with Type 1 diabetes.

Why your time matters

When you volunteer with Emma's Diabetic Guardian Paws Foundation, you're doing more than giving your time—you are helping children with Type 1 diabetes gain greater safety, independence, and confidence through diabetic alert service dogs. Every event you help with, every dollar raised, and every hour you give brings a family one step closer to receiving a life-changing service dog. Together, we can make a lasting difference, one child at a time.

Ways to get involved

Volunteers play a vital role in making our mission possible. Opportunities include helping at fundraising events, selling raffle tickets, setting up and cleaning up events, greeting guests, assisting with registration, serving food, organizing donations, spreading awareness through social media, and helping with community outreach. While volunteers typically do not work directly with the service dogs, every hour they give helps us move one step closer to providing a life-changing diabetic alert service dog to a child with Type 1 diabetes.

Are you the perfect fit?

We're looking for caring, dependable people who want to make a difference. If you enjoy helping others, working at community events, fundraising, or supporting families affected by Type 1 diabetes, we'd love to have you on our team. Your passion can help us achieve our goals and bring hope to children in need.

"Volunteering with Emma's Diabetic Guardian Paws Foundation has been incredibly rewarding. Knowing I'm helping a child get a life-saving companion is truly inspiring."
